I've got site #54 reserved for 7/29 thru 8/4 at Southwick Beach State Park, NY on the shore of Lake Ontario. I've been skunked for buggying the past couple of day passes I've done, but the wind always seems to come up while I'm at work (afternoons) and I'll be there a week, so I should catch some wind. Anyway, Don from powerkiteplace has decided to join me to get away from it all for the week, so a mini event is born! Anyone who cares to stop in for a while will be welcome! Here's a teaser from last weekend, with a still shot looking south to start, then flying "Rasta's Fury" static for a while, then a still shot looking north to finish, showing a pretty empty beach, and the wind was onshore, just not enough to ride.

I'll be there. Probably set up the camper Fri and come back Sat morning to fly the w/e

Great that you can make it, ss, another kiter from southern PA, a certain 'dr', will also be here, and will be showing me the water "ropes", which is feeding my stoke! We can only hope for good winds!:wee:
