I Live in San Antonio but travel to Houston every other weekend and would like to get to know some people to go riding with and show me some spots. Also would like to try water boarding. Will be in Houston this week so hit me up.

lol... there arent many spots in houston proper, you will want to take the extra trip down to galveston... when the winds ar blowin and im off work ands chool, i usually go... this weekend doesnt look so hot for wind forecast, though...

I had fun kitesurfing in the Okaloosa area. There's a bay area with nice flat water. I do miss the hard pack sand that we have in Texas for kite buggying though.

winds have been horrible latley. next clear SE 15-20mph day i will be out for sure @ surfside kite skimming

Yall are not missing much, winds have been very low. Your going to need a BIG kite and big board to even get up wind with these low wind heat-scorting conditions.

under heavy loads. Wind would of been very nice for a totally different reason

the levee has been nice latley, for bigger kites. i managed to get a few nice rides on my 12m and skimmer over the weekend.

Thanks everybody for the replies . I will be in Houston next weekend but don’t know how the winds are going to be hopefully windy. For now I been trying my board out at Texas ski ranch are TSR where a cable pulls you around a lake. Ya its really cool. so if Van you want to hit up surf side next weekend just let me know.

if the forecast holds i will go down there saturday morning early... like 7 am
