first board
I just bought a Flysurfer Pulse 13 and am getting ready to hit the water soon. All I have around are lakes. I am 5'9, 190lbs. What kind of board
should I be looking for?

I have an 07 Spleen Session 41 that helped me get on the board and going with my Pulse 10. I am 6' and 185-190. it says 8 to 20 kts but I have used
it in the high 20s. I bought it from a guy in Michigan that used it on the lakes. It has been great.

i ride a spleene door 159... sweet board, easy to plane, and goes upwind well... good lightwind board, too...
ripsession sells them close to you, too... great guy to deal with
... expensive, but very good boards, and high resale value down the road...

Thanks guys, I have read some really rave reviews about spleens all over the place. Gotta get to saving, unless I get lucky and find a used one.

I have a used like new Spleene rip plus 138x44 I will sell you... I seem to only kite in the waves (gulf of mexico) and the door type boards aren't
great w/ that....
 
Very few scratches on the bottom, pads are like new....
I paid 400 just a few weeks ago and I'll sell it to you for the same.... I'll split shipping w/ you....
I used it a couple times, goes upwind great, just kept stuffing the nose in the breaking waves.....

Oh god, nows that's just mean man, didn't you read the gotta save part, lol. If you still have it at the end of September I'll cover all the shipping

Very tempting, but plastic has gotten me in enough trouble before over nothing, last thing I need at the moment is to find out how bad it would be
with kites. Might accidentally call Flysurfer and ask for 1 of everything, lol.
