Foot strap position

The foot straps on my spleene board have been in the middle position since I got the board. My stance feels a bit narrow. I am not sure if I just need to get used to it. Do any of you have your twin tip boards setup on the wider position? I am 6'. May be just worth a try. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

With wider feet you will gain some edge control but slow down any rotations you want to do. The board will be less "squirelly" since your weight is less concentrated in the middle of the board. Wider is better if it is comfortable for your legs and knees. Definitely worth giving it a try to see how it works for you.
