Good wind is forcast for Friday eve and Saturday..

Unfortunately high tide is late in the day so buggying might be tough...

Beach will be crowded, but w/ south winds easy to get out to sea away from swimmers...

You centexers missed out today.... Winds picked up to 20 this afternoon... Had a great session in the waves... Forecast for tomorrow is up to 25 in the afternoon....Tell the wife you have something to do and get down here to the beach.....

are you gonna be camping on the beach? I'll drive down there Sat. and look for a kite......wind has been light lately, but around 5pm it picks up a little...13-15 kts...

I'll be staying at my mom's in Rockport during the holiday so I was gonna drop by on saturday and sunday. I usually try to go by there in the afternoon so around 3pm until dark.

did you get a chance to make it out there on the weekend? I was there on saturday and sunday from 3pm-7pm. Had a blast with my 15M phantom and the landboard. The wind picked up on sunday around 7pm so I got over powered pretty quick. I was hoping you would bring that buggy of yours out!!!

unfortunately I sold my buggy...I ended up kiting up by the pier , there was some nice clean swell up there.....

I'll be down there this winter for two weeks, have a good friend at Aransas Pass but will mostly be down by South Padre, just don't know when would be best, maybe you could let me know what months are best.

You seem to be the local Port A expert. I'm watching the winds and it looks like Port A is shaping up for Sat. and Sun. with East winds. Is it cool to ride just south of the jetty there at Nueces Co. Park or is that a no-fly zone because of swimmers and surfers? Looks like it would be pretty cool in a NE wind.

According to wind guru friday looks good and Sat. mediocre... The wind is usually best from 5pm till dark..... I kite between the jetty and the pier all the time....Swimmers be damned....... Not so many people at the beach this time of year....

If its over 10 kts i'll be out...If it gets over 15 there should be some others too....

How do you like your 12 rise?? I just got one but haven't had it out of the bag yet...I tried my 8 rise the day of the hurricane and liked it alot.....

Yeah...I shouldn't look at the forecast that far out. I'll keep an eye but it will have to improve to justify a trip.

I'm 99% sure you bought your 12m from my buddy up here (Chrys R.). I love that kite but it's the best I've ever had so I can't compare it with too many others. It's my main kite in my quiver up here so it gets used a bunch.

If the forecast improves I'll definitely be heading that way.

Actually I bought 2 kites from him... They look like new.... The wind forecast is looking better for the weekend....

He does take good care of his stuff and is a good rider so he never crashed those kites I can remember. Especially the 8m, only saw it fly a couple of times.

I noticed the forecast improved also...getting siked! I'm going to work Fri morning and head down around 11 so I should hopefully get in a late afternoon/ evening session. I'll look for your kites if I make it.

Glad we made it down and got to ride with you and Arron. Man, I want more surf riding bad. That's the second time I hit that stuff and had no idea how much fun it would be. That surf felt huge.

I'm usually a flat water rider down there but not anymore.

yeah.. im tryin not to get too excited about it just at the moment, but sundays winds look great... i hope they stay...
