That was awesome 8minutes worth of video. Only issue I had was that Peter Lynn doesn't seem to ever include any snowkiting shots. Do they even have a snowkiting team??? It just would be nice if they pushed the winter possibilities like Ozone does. I just wanna see some big mountain floats like Chasta does with his Mantas

what I fly/ride:
19m Flysurfer Speed 2 SA
12m Flysurfer Speed2
6m Ozone access xt
1.5m Ozone imp trainer
144cm Airush Switch
152cm lib tech skate banana
MBS Pro 90
Jereme Leafe Pro 95

Yes, Chris Krug is PLs winter speed demon. But PL has never done a very good job with the snowkite scene. I don't think they realize the potential as much from where they're at. Sounds like they can't just step outside and snowkite, have to make a long trip out if it sort of like my quests to find buggy areas in MN. But I'm with ya and wish PL cared more about promoting in the snowkite scene. It's my favorite season! If possible, hopefully I can do some more events this year demoing PL kites. There's no one else pushing PL at winter events, so someones gotta do it!

I have sort of lost track of Jake from WindFlowSports in Wash.. Not so much a team rider as dealer but I got my 1st chance to see arcs in motion when we met at the Montana snowkite rodeo. He seemed set and ready to go to many of the snowkite events ? The most fantastic " kitemobile " I have ever seen !:cool2:
I had to choose between snow or sunny events with my limited vacation time. NABX and SOBB won out.

I doubt I will ever NEED to know but have always wonder how arcs perform in the mountians when you see these other styles ( foil , LEI ) offering up those forever jumps downhill against the wind. Will an arc provide that paraglide like float ?

I agree arcs have a very worthwhile place out on snow and it is under exposed !

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

I was at the Rodeo probably that same year. I had my 19M venom lit up on Haggin while everyone was down on the lake. Jake was rocking a Vortex down there. We hung out for a while but took off to find more terrain. ARCs work fine for gliding. I had to down loop on one jump because I was going to high. I'm not use to terrain being a frozen lake kiter. We got the best beer from Bittertooth Brewery that day. Just stopped by to say hi and gave us free beer. Awesome. Hit the Derby and spent most of the night partying in PatricS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s 4x4 RV. Wild night. Drove back to Sugarloaf in a blizzard. Jake's Sportsmobile is the #@%$#! though huh! I cut the vinyl decals for it. As far as I know, he's mostly into paragliding now. Used to be the Kite Cat importer, but no longer. I've been to many winter events, no one from PL is ever there anymore since Blake Pelton isn't on the scene anymore. But I still try to go to as many as a working guy can!

Yeah rip as great as that sounds I think that they would be looking more for someone who had a solid base of skills; which, I don't think that I have. I hope to correct that fully this winter though then I can send you some video to play with:wee:
