beamer 2.5

hi
ive got a beamer II 2.5 and its a great kite to learn with and flys well in high winds but can still give a good pull in lower winds over all very good value for money for someone learning.

Hi,

Like yourself I wanted a kite that wasn't too strong, yet had a decent enough pull and 4 lines so that I could learn the basic techniques of powerkiting.

I have just bought a flexifoil sting, first impressions of it are really excellent, and it continues to impress me by the minute. I've only had the sting out once, and have yet to fly my sting to it's fill potential!! as I only got it last week and on my first flight I was flying in next to no winds at all and it still flies like a dream. I have a Rapier (a small stuntkite) that wouldn't have made it into the air in those breezes/light winds!! I crashed many times whilst flying, however it just bounced straight back and was up and away again. The excitement I got from this kite was unreal, even with a small wind. especcially when the small gusts came along :D

I am an absolute beginner at flying kites!! I managed to pull off some cool dives with this kite, which really did not create a great deal of pull at all. I'm guessing that such manouver with your blade would create a huge amount of pull.

I have yet to take it out in stronger winds though. and cannot advise you on such, however, you should take a look at my posts from earlier this week, when I was asking the same kind of questions about the sting. Grimble gave me some good advice on the subject.
