I just got word that the Family Day Kite Festival at Marina Green in San Francisco, CA, that was originally scheduled to take place Oct 2-3 2010 has been forced to change their dates. The new dates are Sep. 18-19 2010. Ron Young the event coordinator deeply regrets the inconvenience this date change may cause some who were planning to attend, but it was not his choice to change the dates. The event has always been a city of San Francisco event, and a few days ago the city of San Francisco informed Ron Young that the dates would be changed.



We would appreciate your participation at the Family Day Kite Festival!



This year we will increase field safety security, and will have 4-6 people constantly patrolling the fields making sure that spectators stay off of the giant show kites field and the demonstration field.



Also this year, we will use a host hotel, so that all this need to make reservations, can stay at the same location.
