Hello, I'm new to the 4 line kite system, and have recently bought a 4 line power kite. Can anyone tell me how to set up the lines for this kite, do the rear lines have to be longer than the front, if so roughly how much longer do they have to be.

Not every kite is the same, what sort of kite do you have?

Before u fly ur kite know excatly how it is set up. If not the kite may fly backwards and the line can cut u badly, and u will not be able to control the kite, causing damage to it, you and other ppl

What kind of kite is it? Foil or inflatable and are you using a bar or handles if it's a foil?
