I was in the same position last year Nudge...its not nice having the wait hanging over your head until it actually happens...I had 6months of waiting hoping it would not happen, then 4 months out of work when it did...I am now doing something on half the salary I was on, and there is even talk of redundancies here too, but it is not the same this time, as I have not been there that long. I am sure you will get something sorted with your talents, just don't go canceling the hotel just yet...but will understand if you do.

I am all for the 'bring a uk buggier to NABX' scholarship fund.

I have a meeting with the MD on Tuesday, to discuss my "future" (nice how they put it that way when you are losing your job!) I am on a 3months contract so will still have work till January 1st but then that would be it. graphic design jobs down my neck of the woods are few and far between.

Am hoping to go it alone and will be putting some bids in on jobs, and hopefully the new venture that DSK and myself will be coming out with will work.

Not given up hope yet! Still got some fight left in me yet!!
