Taking off the board in flight

I need some advice on how to do it....

I've installed a grab handle, gotten EXTREMELY close to getting it off and back on, but for some reason I just can't get it done. Been trying for about 5 4hr sessions now. Which is half the time required to earn a pilot's license (so i feel like there is something wrong haha).

I can get the board off, but just can't get it back on for the life of me. I keep stalling right when i try to get my feet in the bindings and I end up balling into the field because I'm in a crouch desperately trying to slip my toes back in...

Help me please...
