I'm new; any advice?

Hello all,
I'm new to kite boarding and really want to get into it. I live in the Houston, TX area--are there any shops that sell kites near here? I looked it up and could only find stuff online, and also have no idea what kind to get. Thanks!!

Be safe. Get a trainer kite. Find a friend. Have fun. Let them teach you to fly the trainer. Take lessons.

In that order.
