These two kites are two different animals. One is a intermediate buggy race kite with reduced lift and the other is a lift monster. What are you
wanting the kite to do?? And yes I think it will be very difficult to pick up a blade IV 6.5m as noone wants to turn loose of those great kites. I
have just heard that the new re-designed blades are available in the states again now. I don't know what they are called now maybe the blade V.2 ??

Oh man,,,,,,,,Dino,,,,,,,,,don't put a post like that up and not give us some details. Did they get it right this time or can we write off flexifoil
for all but handles? Did the graphics change from the V series? Do they fly like the IV? Did they bring back the 8.5? More info please please

Dakitez - we had some talk about that in another post - see here - http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=15690
I love the Blade and it does not generate too much lift in that kind of wind I'm going to use it (low end). I hope you are right and Flexi decided to
put a great new blade V.2 on the market. Everybody would jump on that and would sell me their 'old/crappy IVs
I'm still open for Blade (IV) and PL Reactor (I) offers :wee:

sorry wish I had more info. I think they are still calling it the blade V. I was just joking about the .2 part. But seriously I hope they did change
the model # so it is easier to distinguish between the early version and the re-designed version. Maybe the AAA will be the tell tell on this. As far
as I know same sizes and colours. Remember this is not a blade 6. The blade V came out and then disappeared suddenly. The word on the street was it
was getting refined. Its been gone for so long I honestly can't remember when it went away. I think its been about a year or more. I asked my rep
about the changes and this is what I got back:
The new Blade is more hooped than the BladeIV i.e. its not as flat when
you look at it head on.
The turn speed is faster and the kite delivers more hangtime and the
boost is less "spikey".
On the Blades you have in stock, there is a new TripleA adjuster that
uses nylon beads instead of knots to adjust the angle of attack of the
kite in finer increments (12mm adjustments instead of 20mm)
Apart from that, it's still the classic, rip your arms off Blade kite!
