If you're only going to do landboarding, then definitely a foil. They're much easier to set up and pack away. If you want to do kitesurfing also,
then maybe a water-relaunchable foil like a flysurfer or peter lynn. I wouldn't recommend an inflatable for land because it will take a beating and
bladders will pop.

I ride on inflatables cos I kiteboard almost every day the conditions are right and I like the lift from my high aspects. if your not going to get
into kiteboarding in a big way then I would say stick with the foils but if your looking at getting into kiteboarding seriously then go for the
inflatables
In my own opinion flysurfers and the pl soft foils just dont cut it (and before you say any thing I have tryed them out and their just not me except
the phantom which I thought was just PANTS!!)
