Mood: low winds here I come

Rough Morning
I woke up bright and early at 6:15am. Basically working straight for the past two months have killed my chances of sleeping in. I got up made a cup of
Joe and sat down for some quiet time without wife or kids. Looked at the clock on the screen 5:23 :o I forgot all about time change.
I search the web for a bit and played a couple games enjoying the quiet hum of my furnace running. Decided to watch some Youtube, and part way into a
video my computer shuts down. Odd so I go over and turn it on again, but it will only run for about 5 seconds then shut off again. I figure that my
power supply is hooped and hoping that it is nothing else. So now I'm sitting here trying my patience using our 6 year old computer as it takes ten
minutes to fully boot before I can start opening a program and almost as long for the program to open. I'm anticipating a bit of wind this afternoon
so maybe it won't be all that bad of a day.
How was your morning???

Fended off a last minute eBay bid yesterday and won an item I had been stalking for a couple of days :singing:... non-kite-related... strictly
speaking.
Went to sleep in the wee hours. Woke up earlier than expected due to time change. Had breakfast (lemony pancakes, ham, melon, pineapples &
coffee). Watched "Predators" with my GF (her selection :o ).
Have to cut some downed branches this afternoon from recent rains... woo hoo fun with the Bear Saw .
Need to pay some bills and pick up some cut-off wheels at the hardware store. Need to replace my folding dolly after 10+ years (I have beaten the
ever living daylights out of it... rain/sleet/snow). Working on logistics for an international purchase (also non-kite-related).
Basically a catch-up on loose ends day.
ATB,
Sam

Predators was actually not that bad. I saw it on a flight. I was surprised Adrien Brody was in it. I don't picture him as an action flick guy.
Raining outside today. I got to kite buggy a bit at a small field last night. I was chased by some small yappy dogs.

Same deal with time change, Made a cup o Joe and excercise for 2 hours, now am working on improvements on my walking crutch and discovering the
wonders of manuka honey ( it speeds healing, kills infection and is good to help with scarring ) got my final cast yesterday amd will be all good in
about 6 weeks, I anticipate kiting will happen again by february ( when the joint is strong enough.. My computer is doing funny things also and I hope
to hell that it is not hooped as its my primary source ( piano second ) of entertainment while brocken..... predators, i thought was a good movie, but
I still think predator 2 was the best of the series so far..

I'd sell my soul for daylight savings in Japan ... now it's starting to get dark around 5pm and the sun still comes up about 5am :ticking: and it
ain't even winter yet. Summer's even worse - bright sun around 4am and sunset at best is about 8pm the problem with that is there is NEVER wind in the mornings in summer here ...!
I'm quite getting into the getting up early thing ... it's a good feeling to get a lot of hours into the day then collapsing and sleeping well. Bets
laying around in bed feeling all mushy and lethargic ...
So far ... got up, showered, rebooted my PC cos the interweb is flakey as all hell at home (fiber-optic 200Mbit on the way though), checked the
weather for the next two days :D went to work, got a Starbucks black coffee on the way, arrived at work, clocked-in, sat down ... here I am. Now you
bastards have me wanted the 13 & 16 Scorpions I sold back
Good ol' Manuka! From NZ, no? If not, I still grew up with it on my toast ... try it with cheese too - delicious!
Predator 1 and 2 were cool but in different ways ...
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

woke up, drank coffee, snuggled with dogs, rebridled the lower half of a kite, went to the park and sesh'ed some epic winds for 6 hours. Everything
from light and flirty to holy-crap I think I am going to die. Drank a beer, ate a steak... and now... it's barely after 6pm and I am going to bed.

Yeah really hate that part, good thing its a short week. Day ended not as bad, turned on the old VCR and watched some old VHS movies, I forgot how
annoying it is when you have to fast forward for five minutes to get to the movie. I really have to invest in a dvd player instead of relying on the
computer for one. Had a good two hour session with the new kite. Ate some supper and put kids in bed. Now its almost my bed time. We'll see what this
week brings.
Thanks for sharing

No way! Stick with the PC - get SageTV or one of the free versions of PVR software ... personally, Windows Media Center works fine for me ...

Tried to watch Todds WBB video but my daughter has so much juk on memory it only will play 17 seconds. Gave up on that and brought my buggy build into
