I wish I knew. This summer they said maybe the end of the year and that is just about now. They said it is not a high priority, which just irritates
me more as I am constantly losing sales to the used ARC market. While I have customers coming back for their 2nd or 3rd Charger in various sizes, I
talk just as many out of buying them based on their expectations of classic ARC qualities and I end up sending them here looking for used classics.
It is said that they are taking their time to "get it right" but I just hope they don't "improve" it too much.

I'm not at liberty to mention the inner working of Peter Lynn Products. The project was already started a long time ago. The prototypes were at this
years Nabx for everyone to enjoy if they asked.
There isn't that many designers at the HQ so focus on projects takes time. Starting from the beginning with no plans is no easy feet too. I know when
it's available it will be perfect. A prime example is the Vapor.
There are new items on the way for 2011 that will keep you happy with the wind on both land, snow and water.
Sorry again for my delay in cleaning Peter's closet, but I will get to it this week.

thanks Rip.........good to know they are working it............................Im sure they aware that this kite will be a hot
ticket....................although PKF isnt a sales focus group, the intrest/number of new and old customers are there. Money spent on manhours, R and
D, and testing should easily be covered will potential customers chomping at the bit................Im down for a 9m when they come out, and possibly
an 18 if these sizes are available

The anticipation is really killing many to give these things a go. Hopefully this one stays true to the stability and auto-zenith like the original.
Having got into the game just over a year ago its really amazing to see where kites started from and where they are today, even over the past decade
the kites have changed greatly. Can only imagine what they will be like in another ten years. Can we say tremendous low wind advances:Ange09:

That's not entirely accurate. I asked and was told "sure, anytime". Then when I asked for a flight the next day, it turned out to be PL teamriders
and designers only. I was disappointed but it wasn't my kite so I had to walk away.

Every kite event I have ever been to has included a "Sure you can take it for a ride" from one Company Rep or another.
So far i'm "1 out 8" of them actually letting people use it, it's always been "Oh I JUST gotta take it out for a bit, or X company
rider is on it and that's that."
Even "more local" events that have support from Windzup and Ozone Demos...everybody goes and rides and there is nobody there to let you demo stuff.
Kite Reps: reminder! Each person you disappoint at an event may buy someone else's product. I certainly have.

Just sounded funny. And he's been known to type strange things when sleep has been lacking.

yah, its true ... i need to cut back Redbull but also need to get sleep too. Dylan's can read my chinglish well.
@beamerbob, whom did you ask? i was told to let others fly it when possible.
(there could have been a language barrier or a miss communication in what kite you wanted to ride. there was Vapors that only "team riders" were
allowed to destroy. hehehe.
for the record, you own me a little seat time in an Apexx.
if you ever want to demo something PL, contact me, look for me, yell, buy me a drink, smoke sign, etc. you get the point. ive never turn someone down
to demo anything, and will give up seat time to let you ride it. just ask my teamriders, i give to them ... but when someone wants to try, i take
back. hahaha.
(bonus for me, if youre on the gear, i can take a nap)
for the record, Phanny II is still in prototype and i highly doubt production by NABX. i'll ask to bring them there again.
anyways, when there is more information or pictures ill post the information for your viewing eyes.
back to bed.

I was talking to MJ both at the hotel to see if it was possible to fly it and on the lakebed for "lets give it a ride". I even asked if it was ok for
me to publicly discuss my experience or not. Got the yes on all counts. The next day, It was obvious that something changed and I was on the outside
looking in. I hope it was a language barrier issue but the entire discussion was about the Phantom II. I'd love to fly one at any opportunity I
have. A well executed Phantom II design is really the only kite(s) on my wish list right now.
