I've been flying a 3.2m Crossfire for a while now and find it fantastically responsive and fun to fly with a great amount of power when the wind gets
up.
The problem is though I get frustrated when the winds are light and I'm looking at buying something bigger to keep me happy when there's not enough
wind to get the Crossfire to drag me arround the field.
My local kite shop has a new 7m Beamer I in at a knock-down price of £160 that I'm considering. I'm worried though that I'll get equally frustrated
by the Beamer having flown the Crossfire as its much lower aspect ratio and less radical planform will inevitably lead to slower turning and generally
lower performance.
I'm only scudding about and static flying so do you think I'll be content with the Beamer (at least in the short term) as a canopy for those low wind
days or should I hold out for something else on the second hand market?
