Snowkite in Vancouver, BC area?
Hi All,
I am new to this forum, please let me introduce myself:
I fly PL Bomba 8.5, and 15 also Synergy 12 and 19 kites.
Where do you guys go to snowkite in or around Vancouver, BC? Also where to go on Vancouver Island?

Unfortunately we don't have any spots locally. As soon as you find enough elevation to find snow the pesky trees get in the way.
Once Green and Alta lakes freeze up at Whistler we go there. They freeze late and some years not at all. Looking good for Jan this year?
I am off to catch up to Coolbreeze and Bugeyed at Tunkwa lake. About 1 hour from Merrit. It's just far enough we prefer to overnight on the lake.
I am a fellow arcuser as well . Lets get together and share our gear!

We were at Mamette Lake last weekend.No wind on Sat.,on Sun wind started around noon till 4:00 pm.Wind was fairly steady at around 8 to 10 mph.A few
