Any interest in a 3m Frenzy?

I can't believ I'm considering this but I'm thinking about selling off our 3m Frenzy.

It's in great shape, handles high winds like you wouldn't believe.

It's a rare bird and I'm not entirely convinced I should sell it. Sooooo I'm looking fot input here. Wasn't sure if I should post in For Sale or Kites and Accessories. If this is the wrong spot I apologise.

RTF, in good shape.

Yeah, I'm very interested in a high-wind machine that could also be used as a trainer!

Please let us know how much you want for it!

Can you tell me if this kite would be ok for training my kids on snow. There age 10 and 12 and weight about 80lbs.

How much are you asking for it?? My name is Alain.

i don't know what "training" means but as far as teaching kite flying I'd think twice before connecting any inexperienced body (kid/adult) to any kite.
I'd teach kite flying using a fixed bridal on a bar set up and handles. After a person is comfortable most/all aspects(surprises/gusts/speed/power) of kite flying and has experience enough to handle kite in wide range of conditions i'd consider connecting him/her to a kite.
generally the smaller the kite the quicker it flies/turns and "snatchier(quick sharp sudden power ups)" it can be.

Hi.
I'm a semi experianced traction kite flier. And I could have used this little bad boy on tuesday when my 2.8 SDT spanked me fiercely in 30+ winds at our photo shoot.
So what kind of jing are you talking about for this kite?
Dave.

Okay, I've given this a lot of thought.

I just pulled the kite out of the bag. I haven't seen her in a while.

She's beautiful!

But I'm not using her. She would make a good high wind kite for a fat kid or a moderate wind kite for a skinny kid.

It a rare kite. I've had arguments with people that don't believe that the 3m exists. Here's what I found on the Ozone site....

"Frenzy 05
It seems that everybody`s talking about the release date of the Frenzy05, so to put you out of your misery. I can tell you that the Frenzy05 will be available from early November. Rob and Tom have yet again made a major breakthrough in kite design, and the resulting kite boasts greater stability and increased safety, coupled with the all-important improved performance.

Rob has also developed a new speed system for the 9.5,12 and 14m that have enabled him to get the kite turning faster and more around its tip which results in more pop for airs.

Other changes include a new plan form and profiles on the larger kites and the addition of a 3m and 14m to complete the range. The 3m was designed for schools, but after using it a lot this year it`s really proven itself as an amazing buggy kite and we are sure it will become the high wind kite of choice for buggying. Our legendary French freestyle buggy rider Fred Baup really put the kite through its paces recently, which can be seen on our new DVD coming out soon!

The Ozone bar is all new for 2005 and is a beautiful piece of engineering; a carbon bar with a unique central hole that results in zero friction whatever angle the bar is at, finished off with our own design ends

The new bar also has a very easy to grab handle for the primary safety release that releases with less than 10kg of pulling force, even when under 300kg of load. The safety system is also a re-ride system this year and overall a much needed huge improvement on the FY04 bar."

Flies awsome, depows great, is very fast when the wind is nukin' but manageable. Molly's flown it in gusts up to 40mph and had a ball. I'm really apprehensive about letting her go but she will probably do someone a lot more good that me.

$450 RTF

I can't figure out how to get pix up here so just shoot me your email and I'll get some off to you.

Gaaaah, this is killin me.

OKAY EVERYONE, I KNOW I SUCK!!!!

I've been meaning to respond to emails but I've been busy and been messing with some footage that I just got and running around and doing a lot of stuff that could probably wait for a sec while I respond to everyone's emails.

I just got word that the kite that I want to use to replace the 3m may not be available for a while so my selling it off is going to be on hold until I get all the details. I will still send pix out to everyone I goit emails from but for now it's on hold.

Again, I'm sorry for my slacking response time.
