I can’t believe it’s been another year already. Time sure flies when you’re having fun doing what you enjoy most. As the New Year comes, there have
been some changes in my life too that I’d like to share.
As of January 10 / 2010, I will no longer be apart of Ripsession Kiteboarding Shop. I have passed on the business as my new ventures begin. I trust
the new owners of the company Tim and Maria will continue the legacy for the BC shop. The new owners of Ripsession Kiteboarding / The Kite Company in
OR will continue to be run by Keith and Sean. They can be reached at the main line info AT ripsessionkiteboarding.com
I wish them all the best and continue success.
For me, I will get comfortable in my new chair for the Peter Lynn Products / Vliegerop. My new position is International Sales for USA / Canada for
both old and new dealers and customers. If you have any questions or require any service please contact me through Ripsession Kites / Peterlynn USA.
For the record I’m not the distributor but an extension of Peter Lynn on this side of earth.
Looking forward to new travel plans for 2011 attending kite events, tradeshows and best of all riding with each of you.
Lastly, I’m very excited to take on the big role of President for NAPKA. I have a few goals to make this organization grow to what BSKA and GPA have.
No, its not all about racing, its about having fun, and enjoying the sport as a whole. It’s going to take time and everyone to get active and
involved. Success to have a governing body will only help grow the sport, have more events throughout the year in different locations. Take a look at
kitesurfing, as it exploded past land kiting because everyone got into it, and we can do the same for land kiting, we’ve been around longer too. By no
means are we going to exclude, if you fly a kite, you’re welcomed. Ultimately we can increase land access, for example locally here at home we have an
expansion on a new kitesurfing park. Lets keep on building, and remember those that are members take advantage of the event insurance, and host an
event. Ja.
Thank you all for your help to my continued success, I couldn’t have done any of this without you guys and gals. You know who you are; the list is too
long to write out.
Lets Ride 2011!!!
