Interested in a trade? 12m Cabrinha CB for something smaller
I have a 2006 12m CB in good condition for the year. No tears or patches, places that may have stress were reinforced to keep problems from happening.
I am still very new to this sport and only way 134 lbs so frankly I am a little scared to fly such a big kite. If anyone has something of equal value
that is in the range of 8-10m and wants to trade let me know.
I can through in a bar if it is absolutely needed but would rather not. Comes with bag assuming the kite you have has a bag.
Thanks

That was what I was starting to see, I have it on a couple forums so who knows. The wind is supposed to be nice and light tomorrow so I may give it a
shot.
Thanks for the welcome, you guys have already been a great resource to me in my lurking days.

I am 128 lbs. Fly in Minnesota. Winds are gusty and shifty. The 12m will be fine as your lighter wind kite. If you're on a budget, find yourself
another older 8m or 9m Xbow or Switchblade and you'll be set. Check out Ikitesurf.com. My LEI quiver is of that vintage, and I paid no more than $350
per kite/bar/bag, all in great shape, with some careful shopping.

Hey Man
I'm with Krumly. I've had Cabrhinas for a few years. From 06 on the safety is top notch. Try the kite in 12 mph in that wind if you just let go of the
bar it will fall out of the sky.
I'm a little heavier than you so I'm guessing but on water you should be good from 13 or 14 mph to around 20 mph maybe a bit more when you get better.
On snow it will work in a little less.
At your weight this will probably be your lite wind kite.

You guys are awesome. Before I bought the kite I did a ton of reading and found that it sounded like a decent kite and the size would be fine in
lighter wind. I got an amazing deal on it, actually started talking to the guy about snowkitting in general and then he said he had a kite he would
hook me up with if I wanted. Once I got it though, most people I talked with told me im crazy for getting such a big kite. For the most part though we
have pretty light winds though so I should be good. Hopefully giving it a go later this week, just waiting for a harness.
Thanks for the responses, they are greatly appreciated.

GT-
If yer itchin for a smaller kite, there is an '07 Cabrinha Xbow 9m complete @ $290 and and an '08 Xbow 9m complete @ $400 on Ikitesurf.com. I'd post
the URL but it won't get you to the kites. Look in 'kites' and then do a filtered search on 'Cabrinha.'
