There are a few good kites to start out with in the for sale area of this forum, usually there are more but it is a little lean right now. Just three
OK ones at the moment from the last month or so.
However, the kite you learn on is not the one to jump on, so none of these options are good jumpers. You need to learn to fly well before jumping.
There's an old thread on here about a dude who bought a 6m jumper as a first kite and broke both legs in his first fifteen minutes.
3,0 meter flow is the best all-round option for learning on this list, it would be my pick for teaching out of the lot.
You'll be tempted by the cheaper little devil 4.5, but it is a bit too big for a first kite, also it is more of a traction kite than a jumper. You'll
put yourself at substantial extra risk if you pop for this one.

The samurai 2.4 is a high-quality but rather old traction kite, the size is perfect for learning (the 2-3m sweet spot) but the price is a bit high,
however the kite sounds mint and is fully accessorized.

Hope that helps....
fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....
sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...
also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.

Why would anybody want to swop a kait for that or a viv pulse fis ...? I dig snakes and all but the last thing I want is something else to feed and
not kill in the house ... perhaps though I could feed the cat to it. Or even the viv pulse fis.
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Not sure but suspicious. Looks cheaply made. Note that it is not listed on bonafide kite sites but gift shops. Odd shape, huge inlets (slug), all
white lines. Beware.

easy to break (rigid spar along leading edge), takes more skills, zero float if you get any air with it, hard to pack, difficult to store...
Do a google search, you'll find a few old reviews, also some videos.
