19M Boys Club

The 19m Boys Club
"Holding it down, since 20 knots!"

I'm sure it's open to gurlz too...

Was blowing fifteen knots today when I hit the water with the 19 Charger. When I came off it was blowing 20 knots with higher gusts. Talk about feeling light on your feet. Was the first time in a long time I asked someone to help land the kite. Guy was a LEI flyer, so whenI asked I told him to grap the spar on the edge.. he goes and grabs the kite like a LEI, so I popped the safety and it's flopping around and he has this bewildered look on his face...

Was a fun day on the water.. overpowered, but fun. This mean I'm a member now?

Was perfect weather. Around 80 degrees and blowing 20 knots... Water felt good as well with just a short wetsuit on.

We could eliminate "boys" from the name to avoid being exclusive. :bigok:

you are doing better than me but then maybe then I guess that the 19m Speed 2.5 is quite a bit different than a 19m Charger. Funny, cause this whole time I thought Kami was talking about a his silver arrow and not an arc.

Speed2 19 in 20 knots? I think I've been close but it's not fun for my beginnerness - unlike the 19m Synergy which was rockin'!

... it was kind of a joke that those among us who are ahem gravity challenged tend to go out with the biggest kites we can while everyone else is on tiddlers :D I guess I can change the title though ;)

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Kami... my 190 lbs was gravity challenged with a 19m Charger. I could barely feel the pull of the earth... but definetly feel the pull of the wind.

Thats good, I was feeling like maybe I needed to step up and rock a 19m in 20kts but there just was no way.
