Inland flight and things now unbroken.. Need some direction .

hey guy's, As some of you may have read many minths ago I busted up my ankle in a freak lofting with a relatively small kite.

I am Healed up and have been flying since with my Fixed bridle hydra 3.5 having a blast, but am Really seeing the benafit of having a de-power in These inland gusty conditions.

I am unsure yet where powerkiting will take me, Though I CAN say I am Stoked to be able to do it again, and am wondering a few things.

1. recomendations for my next kite ?( a beginner depower for sure )

2. how big of a field does one need to buggy in? There is an abandonned airport strip where I fly and the wind is great usually byt it is only maybe 250 feet wide. I am wondering if its possiblle to upwind In that short space .

3. The hydra ... ahh the hydra, Well I had made a ghetto style Depower that seemed to work okay but have since re-attached the lines in the original fashion.. I am aware of powerzones mod, and am looking into it but Basically I am Wondering If I could not copy the bridal pattern of a neo and Simply buy a 4th line to attach and Mod myself? I suppose what I'm really asking is If this kite will turn properly in the brake lines?

and Lastly, Could I simplly buy some handles and Put it on handles ? ( again with the purchase of a 4th line )

I love kiting, but I really Really Fear a lofting if I keep flying with a FB kite, on a "danger" bar... ( i no longer refer to them as trainer kites ..lol )

Thanks Guys for any info, and thanks for all the Advice So far.. This site Is a rarety in the internet world... A site Where I truely Trust the goodness of the advice given . .. thanks :)
