Thats one beautiful bird! What is it called? The only bird in the states that would command such a fine + jail time, would of course be our national
symbol, the Bald Eagle.
We have lots of them around here, but I've never had a close encounter like you did.
As you can probably tell from my Avatar I like birds.

Arkay there is a fine for surf chickens in CT. I packed up real fast and drove away one day at the shore when I was flying my 20foot Raptor delta and
the wind shirted and hit a seagull and killed it. I think it's a $500.00 fine here. You know there aren't many left :megan:

My fish wisperer Morgan found he could catch seagulls with fishing pole and a minnow , they eventualy get tired of fly arround attatched to a line and
puke it out. The little guy Ian caught a baby duck on corn after I told him not to throw it near the ducks , Mamma duck was pissed, hooked in the
tounge I was able to get it out and end all the commotion.

I think Seagulls like just about anything. I know I've already given them McDonalds french fries. They seem to hang out around the fast food joints
looking for a handout.

I've hit Terns with my kite lines - usually goose them from behind. They take a rough and tumble in the sky, squawk "WTF?" then fly away. I never
mean to and I don't want someone to see it and complain that I am harassing wildlife. So NoCanDo from Oz brought me some more Roo Scarers and gave
them to me at NABX. They seem to work on birds, as they tend to fly off earlier as I approach in the buggy.

Yeah, not exactly a double blind study but they seem to.
