This is the response I received from "Steve Mayer" stevem11@mindspring.com
We are working on more photo’s, I’ll see what we can get you… they are totally unique, and here is why! We are really into buggy’s and just were
floored by how much they cost. We decided to design and make our own in China. All Peter Lynn and others come from china, to Europe to US importer to
local shops each making a bit on it. These come from the factory to us then to you! Suggested retail is $425, we think they are in the $600 price
range, but at $425 we can make it. The $299 price is to get some out there. We make a few bucks, you get a screaming deal and the word spreads… This
is the price shops pay for the buggy. So far 48 of the 100 are sold in just 5 weeks so it is working! I just checked out the stats page on the peter
lynn and we have to do the same. Everything is very similar, I have to talk to the factory to get specifics but the only thing I like better on the
peter lynn is the padded rails, they just look good, but we shaved some dollars not doing that. What ours has over that is a higher seat, seat pocket
for extra kite, adjustable foot pegs, up or down, back or forward, easier to assemble or disassemble, extra bolts if you loose any, comes with all
tools, and we are local in the USA (utah) if you need any parts or warrantee. With any of our goodies, if you get it and don’t like it, you can
return it for a full refund! The $299 price is good until Jan 31st, then will go to the normal price.
Steve.
I have received some pix, if anyone wants them, send email.

$300 and able to return if not satisfied, I can't see any reason not to try it out if you are just getting into the sport. The first thing I think I
would do though is pad those rails.
As far as a kite, my first question would have to be, where in the world are you to have those kind of avg winds? That's an ideal avg as far as I'm
concerned. There are many different kites out there as I'm sure you have seen. It pretty much comes down to cost/performance. Do you want the best
kite available (and it will be costly) or will something cheaper do? There are some very good "cheaper" kites out there that will still get the job
done.
Among those that I have personaly tried Beamers, radsails and busters.
And would recommend those in that order. With those 10-15 mph winds I would suggest something in the 3 meter range to start with and limit that to
scudding and buggying. Jumping with a small kite is NOT recommended.
It probably won't be too far down the road before you will be ready for a bigger kite (5m or so) and then work on jumping. Not to say that the 3m
will be wasted. It's great to learn with and is there for the windier days.
Happy kiting

HEY BOOM
PRICE IS NOT REAL BUT YOU WILL FIND OUT.I HAVE INFO FROM MY SALESMAN AND TO GET BUGGY TO RETAILER IT IS $320.THAT IS PRICE HE PAY THAN HE HAVE TO MAKE
LIVING TOO,SO IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT NOTHING IS FREE RIGHT.
BUGGY IS SUPERB AS FAR AS MY RESARCH,GOOD QUALITY MATERIALS.WHAT I WOULD CHANGE IS 12MM (6IN LONG) SS BOLTS ON 20MM TO MAKE IT STRONGER.BUT I'M
220LB,SO WHEN I JUMP IT COULD BE ISSUE.
SIDE PADDING-YOU WON'T NEED IT TILL YOU START TO DO TRICK LIKE TWO WHEELS.
MY ADVICE IS GET BUGGY AND DON'T TRY TO SAVE $30 ON GEAR BECAUSE YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.I KNOW THAT FIRST 100 BUGGY ARE CHEAPER AND THEY SOLD
HALF OF IT ALLREADY,SO TIME IS NOW.
AS KITE I WOULD GO WITH 3M FOR A START NOT BIGGER BUT IF YOU ALLREADY ARE VERY GOOD WITH FLYING GET 4M.I ASSUME YOU ARE NEW TO SPORT, SO BUY KITE
FIRST AND LEARN TO FLY .WHEN YOU ARE COMFY WITH IT JUMP IN TO BUGGY.

I can get one of these for $379.00 US Dollars until the end of Jan. 2006 here in Las Vegas. I can get a Peter Lynn Comp XR for somewhere between $425
- $550, depending on where I go in Las Vegas. I am 6 ft. tall and weight 205 lbs. I realize I might get airborne sometimes but don't really plan on
doing it on purpose. How much better is it to have a 15 mm bolt than a 12 mm bolt. I don't mind paying more for more, if ya know what I
mean.:singing:

I have a buggy assembled and from a full race libre rider I can tell you this buggy has a deeper seat for comfort and loading up the side rails with
power. It's built out of Stainless Steel, not crappy aluminum. It doesn't weight that much but I'll have to get it on the scale and find out. The
rear axle is wider then the XR's but I'll have to measure it. I just know I don't run my elbows on it when I'm riding. Very stable and it looks like
this is a great buggy.
