If anyone is willing to part with their legend of a board, I would be a very grateful acceptee. I'd like to pay no more than 500 shipped, 400 would be much better.

you might look into a lightwave wing instead... a bit closer to your pricepoint and still a good board... cabrinha plasma is also good... lotsa boards on ebay right now

There's a bunch of Flydoors over on the kiteforum.com second hand page and even flysurfer.com has some used ones.

IMHO stick with the 2009 on board - wood core is much stronger.

kiteboarding.com has a sale on the Plasma IIRC too

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Would getting a brand new spleene door for $550 be worth it? I found one on clearance on a site.

If it's 2010+ then it's not a bad price - Cab Plasma I guess? You'll keep it a while as you're learning and it'll be your lightwind board unless you want to get into directionals ... I keep trying my shorter boards and bloody hate them :lol:

I'm going to try a North thingy tomorrow that supposed to be a 135cm lightwind board but I'll probably hate that too :D

www.kite-line.com has some on discount too ...

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I broke down and bought a 2010 150 Door for 550. Pretty excited to get to use it!:roll:
