Dedicated to Dino
After being harassed by Dino at NABX, I decided to chop up my trampa. He kept giving me crap about my board being so plain and ordinary compared to
the trampas that the Dutch boys brought with them.
This is still a work in progress. I still need to smooth out some of the edges, cut a little more off of one side, and drill some large holes
underneath the bindings to make it a little bit lighter. I also need to add some spacers to the grab handle so that it is higher off the board to
create more leverage during board flips.
Let me know what you guys think!
Ok Dino.....NOW YOU OWE ME TACOS!

That looks really nice....I guess my only concern would be breakage in the middle...it looks real narrow...or maybe it's just the camera angle?

its 4 and a quarter inches in the middle
the rule is when cutting trampas, you want at least ten centimeters in the middle. its really flexible but very strong. its hard to understand how
strong they are unless you've been able to test them.
the dutch have theirs cut down even smaller. I used jeroen's board on the playa, and even after big air and landing hard those things just flex beyond
belief, thus giving me the confidence to chop mine down

Looking great so far Adam! Can't wait to see the finished product. Can't wait till you get your kites as well. Once your board is done I wouldn't want
you running around trying to find something else to cut up.

no tacos till that thing is lightened up some more. Still way too much deck left. I have a hole saw if you need to borrow it ... or better yet send it
to me ... I will help you lighten it up :P

more holes, the size of Dino's *blank* :moon:
if you're coming down hard, than you're not using enough kite to give you FLOAT.

Looks good, nice shape! I was a bit nervous about cutting my trampa on the dirtsurfer just because I had snapped so many stock decks and this trampa is
3 inches longer than stock. But the cut gave it sweet flex and its tougher than a bag of hammers. Some colored grip tape, say maybe red, would look
good. I have some on mine and it makes a plain black deck pop more than any sticker can, and if you're handy with an exacto knife you can cut patterns
into your grip tape
