Winds 10-14, inflated the kite properly this time and up she went, easily. Holy powerhouse! This thing has some serious grunt! The auto zenith is super sweet, makes it nice when I dont feel like landing it and the gf needs a hand launching her kite. Easy set up, easy launch, lots of power, I can now see what so many on this forum love arcs. Only 1 complaint: packing it away is a royal pain in the :moon: Other than that, I can see myself becoming an arcoholic.

P.S. Bow ties suck too

Oh yeah also for quicker storage........if you have the space it's better to leave the sticks in. I usually don't even disconnect the lines from my kite. I just land, wind up the lines, then roll the bar up with the kite. Saves a ton of time with set up and tear down

Other thing I noticed is the way the safety leash is hooked up makes it impossible to spin the bar to straighten the lines after a loop. I'll have to post a pic when I'm not dead tired lol

yeah packing and setting up an arc is a bit more time intensive than a fixed bridal for sure. If you have a bar and lines for each kite and leave the sticks in and the lines attached then setup can be faster, but still not what I'd call fast. I'm usually more inclined to stick with whatever arc I pull out even if I'm overpowered just cause I don't want to blow 30 minutes of flying packing and setting up again. 12-14 is where I find the v19 turns on. I find that 15-17 is a nice strong stable pull, sweet spot for me. Once it hits 17+ you should be boosting into the atmosphere. :wee:

It always takes more time than a foil but if you open all the zips and leave the sticks in she'll roll up pretty quick.

The 19m has a ton of volume. Smaller Arcs are faster to get packed up.

Small trade off for the flight quality tho.

Zero 4 has the neoprene "hood" style floats. Zero 7 has foam floats and cable leash.

04 bar, Angus should have an 07 upgrade with tophat safety in stock (just the depower and chickenloop).

Personally i don't like the older PL bars; the navi is at least heads beyond the 04 or 07. They work, but the safety on the 07 has failed me several times. It's not pulled once and the black line has wrapped around the end of the bar making the kite loop; and it always gets in the way. Uncool. I'd recommended getting a newer style bar. Sort of a thread hijack but has anyone hooked up a navi bar to the 4 line arc? IIRC the navi uses the 5th line on the charger and I haven't seen it or tried it in a 4 line setting. ( yeah, should google first...)

Pardon the hijack. I use my navigator on my VII and Synergy all the time and it works wonderful. Leash hooked to the fifth line safety thru the bar allows spins all day without a tangle. Very uncluttered and effective system. My only gripe: Y line split up towards the leading edge of the kite makes botched launches and inverts difficult to fix. Can't say enough about the safety, front line flag out works like a charm.
