Peter Lynn Venom I 13m + bar - $250 SOLD

Peter Lynn Venom I 13m - $250 (red and white color)

First off, I am a long time reader but not a very active poster on powerkiteforum. This would be my first sale and I would prefer to sell in person (I hope I'm not breaking any rules here.) I want the buyer to be able to see the that the kite is as described so he will know exactly what he's getting.

Location: San Francisco, CA (if you live in Bay Area or even Los Angeles area, we can deal)

Description:
I have not flown this kite in over 3 years and as a result, the zipper is now permanently stuck. They need to be replaced. I found a vendor that sells quality zippers.
http://www.seattlefabrics.com/zippers.html#Separating_Water_...
Unfortunately, you will either have to replace them yourself or pay a specialty tailor to do it. All 3 zippers are stuck. I’m not sure what caused it since I only fly this kite on land. I think maybe flying during the foggy days get the zippers wet. There are no tears in the kite. No repairs. It’s in great condition. It comes with the Zero04 bar and extra kite poles in case you accidentally bend the original ones. If you’re wondering what the kite poles do, they are inserted at the edge of the arc shaped kite. Peter Lynn Venom is a 4 line kite that provides excellent stability. It can generate lift and a lot of power.
Price is firm. I can email pictures if interested.

noslen -

If you were willing to ship this and threw up a couple pics, a regular would scoop it up. Awesome deal. I'm sorely tempted, but with 2 13 m Guerilla's don't think I need the V1 right now.

Try washing the zips, then some silicone spray while you gently work the slider. I've gotten a few working just fine when I thought I was going to to have to put in new ones.
Sewing new zips in is easy - 1/2 hour job.

Understand your concerns about payment, but check out the good traders sticky and you'll see how many standup folks there are on this forum.

Please throw some pics of the kite, bar, sticks and bag up for us to see...... Some close up of the zippers would be a plus....

We are a friendly bunch to deal with....... :D

If you don't mind shipping.... I know the people here don't mind paying the postage......

I am interested myself, but I would like to see some photos........ if you still don't want to ship, I have a good friend in Sac and another in Folsom..... they may be able to pick it up for me if you could just post those pics.......

Hey g00fba11,

I currently have a local who wants to see it in person and is willing to pay $250 for it if he likes what he sees. If he doesn't want it, I'll take some better pictures and send them your way.

Thanks for your suggestion krumly. I know resewing it isn't that hardest task in the world, but I don't know how to do it. I'm sure my mom can do it, but she is sooo busy that I wouldn't want to add any extra tasks to her already busy schedule.
