I was digging around looking for more info on the mixer setups for the FSers and in the process ran across a post where the "how to" on jumping with
FSers was discussed. In it I read that when jumping with a FSer you send the kite, carve away and pull in for liftoff. What I found odd was that it
then said to NOT let the bar out while airborne or it'd drop you like a rock (almost a direct quote). This is counter to what I understood and that
was that you let the bar out and when it's time to touch the ground again after redirecting the kite you can sheet in a bit to soften the landing.
Is there a different technique with the FSers or is my understanding all wrong to begin with? Might explain why the SA kept overflying me when
boosting this winter....I thought it was because I was chicken and had it trimmed in too much.
