Mood: They're ALL good ideas. Right up until they become BAD ideas.

FIVE kiters I'd never met before in the same park on the same day!

Wow! The sport is growing in little old Edmonton.

So one guy was a kiter from Nunavut, down teaching a friend of his to fly. They were setting up her new kite (Twister/Hornet 3?) when I saw them and went over to say hi. The other three were on the other side of the field. Two new kiters and a new guy on the scene from Glory Kites out of Calgary giving them lessons. I've been seeing his ads all over the place lately. Good for him to make the effort to help out more new kiters.

So awesome to see. That's more kiters in one day than I've seen in my whole time living here (five years). Hopefully they find their way here and sign up!
