PL Folding Buggy - $Sold

Peter Lynn Folding Kite Buggy. Light and strong - good condition. Includes new spray guard.
Easy to transport in your car trunk - Folds up in seconds.
Faster than many of the bigger buggies due to its light weight.

Buggies are a pain to ship so I would prefer to sell locally. Can deliver to Bellingham, or maybe a west coast beach event.

Interested... but alas I am far, far away.

Even on greyhound the shipping would be ridiculous.

I just had a buggy shipped on greyhound from Smith AB to Vancouver and it was about $60. An almost new bug for less than $400. I would consider it depending on your weight.

I'd really like to know how you manage that feat. My most recent XR+ to Montreal from Edmonton, CP Expedited, $57.41 GST and insurance incl. Buggy in one box, $33.38, and borrows in second box, 23.83.

What's the secret ??

Get a CP Biz Acc., make sure you ship 20 parcels per month.

It's not what you box but how you box... Shipping air is expensive.

My apologies to Harald for the hijack.

Have a Biz acc., send well over 20/month, buggy shipped in orig. PL buggy box and wheels in perfectly fitted box so can't get any smaller. I don't think Expedited Parcel, which is biz only, is an air service.

Now would not be the time I would be trusting my parcels to the care of Canada Post, (I guess you missed the news of an impending mail strike). If you are doing business in Canada and want your goods to arrive before the end of summer, you might want to suggest alternate shipping arrangements.
Better to pay a little extra not to have your package behind a picket line for months. For those not familiar, Canada Post has just about the worst labour management relations in North America.

One location today, at Canada Post these situations have usually deteriorated pretty quickly to general work stoppage either a lockout by management or strike by the union.

I was planning to head out to the oregon coast next weekend, but had to cancel my trip. Could still deliver the buggy to the Bellingham-Seattle area any time if any kiters down there want a fast and portable buggy. For a lightweight person in particular, these folding buggies are versatile and very quick.

Also have a Dakine Speed Seat harness for sale.

You might want to give Thrasher a heads up on this. Just let him know this is the same type of buggy he was riding in Beverly/Nahant with Dan.
