Shipping Location!?!
Im curious about the shipping location for international pilots. I heard that I could ship to the hotel. However im having doubts about it since most
of the gear will arrive about a week before the event. Who will look after the stuff when its there?
I had a bad issue with shipping to B.Bills in LV because they would not receive it and UPS wanted me there.
Ideally I would like to ship to a dealer / local rider instead.
as always everyone seems to jump to the table to help out another rider / pilot. I warn you there is a lot of stuff and it needs to go there and back
to your place until we get home to arrange for pickup delivery back here.
so to eliminate questions on HOW MUCH, the list is below.
3 x XXtreme ApeXX - 70lbs each (roughly about 3x the box size of a XR+, thats 3 huge boxes)
1 x XXtreme BaSiXX - 10lbs or less
2 x CadKat Rims / Eurotrax (BF Full)
2 x AS Rims / Beach Racers
2 x AS Rims / Duros
3 x Std Rims / Ribbed
3 x 17" Disc Rims
3 x Std Rims / Duros (BF Lights)
4 x 2 Kg Weights
2 x Vapor Series (may take on airplane)
? x PL Demos
? x Kitemama's Kites
1 x Adam / Wifey (Joy)
thanks in advance

Are you implying Ivanpah or is it another location? You seem to have left that out or in the air a bit.
You are shipping Adam & Joy?!?! :wow: Have heard of post-honeymoon closeness, but that's ridiculous. Don't forget air holes for the box.

Shalimar Resort
6405 Atlantic Avenue
Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260
Maria has said that she will lock the equipment into a room and then on your arrival day will have items moved to your room. Personally I think it
would be best to have the items all remain into one room so there's no miscommunication and lost gear. Simply show ID then pick up your gear. Make
sense? Let me make a couple of phone calls and see if I can arrange something better.

Rich has offered up to have it shipped to him in DE. and then transport it to Wildwood. Van of VTT had no issues with shipping it to the Shalimar so
your choice.

Ricardo,
One thing I would highly suggest when shipping is to print return labels at the same time as your shipping labels. That way when you are finished
with your event, all you need to do is to re-box the items into the same boxes they came in and stick the return label on it. Then, either yourself
or whoever you leave the packages with can just drop them off at the local UPS dock and they can be on their way back to you. This will help
eliminate the issues of payments or 3rd party billing or excessive shipping charges from accounts that do not get discounts such as yours.
For NABX this year, a couple of the manufacturers did this and it was so simple for me. All I had to do was transport it back to Vegas and drop it
off - instead of re-weighing, tagging and all the extra billing issues.
Hope that helps for wherever you are sending the gear.

Sorry to imply anything Ricardo. I did not mean to do so. It was only a suggestion as I assumed that you were looking to do some shipping of large
amounts of gear to somewhere and only thought that this may help you out.
Not everyone ships in high volume and although we do quite a bit of shipping and get some pretty decent discounts, I know first hand that Peter Lynn /
Vliegerop gets a much better discount on their shipping than we do. I only assumed that because you stated that you are a part of the Peter Lynn
operation that you too would get a comparable discount on your shipping.
Again I did not want to imply or offend, it was only a suggestion.
