Bar and Harness

I got a Flexi Bullet at the weekend and it came with a Harness and a bar, not really sure what to do with them!?!

Any advice would be appreciated

What size is the Bullet and how much have you flown any 4 line powerkite?

Wouldn't recommend using the harness until after you can fly the kite pretty much without looking at it. Any kite (especially a Fixed Bridle which the Bullet is) attached to you via a harness can hurt you badly in the wrong conditions. The Bullet is a predecessor of the Flexi Rage, and flies similar. I have a Rage 2.5 on a bar that I use to teach people. It came with handles but a bar works OK to keep the kite dialed down a bit. The bar also helps beginners keep their hands in the right position (roughly) and not use a bunch of body english and gyrations to fly the kite. Don't know where you are in the learning phase so forgive me if I've incorrectly assumed you're a beginner.

The Bullet is a 2.5 and I've flown a bit, mostly with the two liner flexi and just worked my way up.

So are you saying the bar is better for a beginner?

Cheers
