Wrist straps?

Has anyone tried wrist straps like the weight lifters use? This might increase flying time. I will find some fabric to use...this can be done by wrapping a 3" wide piece of material around your wrists then around the handle. I might need help wrapping the second hand? I'll let people know. Sunday is the day for 11-22 mph winds..perfect.

Sounds maybe a little too 'committed", if you get what I'm saying. Don't attach yourself in anyway that doesn't have a release. Bite the bullet and buy yourself a harness!

I use straps when I fly duo string control kites. They have no brakes lines. The reason I use handles is two on top for steering, two on the bottom for breaking. The only other thing is a bar, I have not attempted that as of yet.

You can get a strop that has a release.
