Landboarding basics for the noob

Since I'm just starting to learn this landboard stuff on my own, I found interesting site with some good suggestions for us newbies learning mountainboard basics.

http://www.mountainboarding.uk.com/learning-the-basics-of-mo...

I'm sure some of this would be different when adding a powerkite but I figure learning the board first would help a lot...

Any additional links are welcome for us beginners :)

Can't wait to add the kite!

RaceKites.Com Getting started with landboarding

The Trick List

I posted these last year, but racekites.com has abandoned the kitesbuggiesandboards.com the domain name so it's worth reposting.

Fat sands made a great dvd on landboarding! I got that back when I first started. I gotta imagine flyjumps videos will tell much of the same info as the dvd, but with a great youtube price.

Best advice... Get a helmet. If you do everything right after that, you'll need it... If you aren't crashing, you're not doing it right lol.
#2: just get out there and fly as much as possible, you'll progress faster than you think once you put the time in!

not advice really but post pics and vids... Always welcomed around here!
