Kiters are all Family!!

I just wanted to throw up a little post to thank my extended kite family. I recently had international sale that went bad. Turns out the item was paid for with a stolen credit card. As soon as I find out I was able to turn to my xxtreme friends and they were on the phone to the delivery country post office trying to track this package down for me.

Long story short I was able to get the package back and the criminal lost this one.

This type of actions simply reminds me why I love kiting so much ... its not just the act of kiting (although that is full too) its the family bond we all share. When you become a kiter you dont become one of the group ... you become one of the family!

Thanks again Ozzy and Ruud

This is an awesome post. I've been involved with small groups of the hobby sports kind, Local bowhunting club, High power match and long range shooting. These people are the same way. Once you prove yourself and they see you are as serious as they, the bond begins. I went to my first High Power Nationals match in 2005 at Camp Perry , OH. with a close friend who was competeing, I'd shot alot but never shot a competetive match in my life, just went to watch. Before I new it the group of shooters he was with had me outfitted with Rifle ,ammo, shooting jacket, and ground pad, and explained to me this was the Nationals, you don't just come hear to watch.
I've already seen this bond ,just reading the thousands of post I have in the last few weeks and in buying a couple kites and a buggy from the sale forum. Every purchase was followed up with a email and even some phone calls to make sure I was OK with the purchase. I too hope to prove myself worthy of being part of this Family.
