First kite

Hi, I was introduced to power kiting this past weekend at Ocean Shores, WA. I have an Impulse 2.0 Peter Lynn and fell in love with the sport. I blew out a cell and need to fix it. With the summer winds in WA I need to fix it soon because I can't wait to get back out there. I look forward to learning more about this awesome sport. Thanks,
Tomie

Thank you! I wish I could but the next three weekends are out for me. :sniff: (Plus I need to get my kite fixed) By any chance have you heard about kiting at Chambers Bay? I see a lot of kites but never a power kite and wondered if there's enough wind.

Pssst... fix it yourself

Plenty of info here

To see the smile on your face as you piloted the kite on your own was a complete joy for me. I'll share a section of beach with you any day.
Also a huge thank you to Andy at Ocean Shores Kites where I purchased the kite, awesome deal! Also thank you for the free stake and conversation. It was really cool to walk into an actual kite shop that had power kites hanging from the ceiling.

I found someone else to fix it better than I could. ;)

Thank you for being the world's best teacher. Looking forward to putting in more beach time with you.

Thank you for the heads up! I love Long Beach. I've only been out for the car shows but it's always a good time.

I can't believe Todd did not train you on how to crash your kite properly! Well it should be an easy fix to hear it from him. Good luck getting it back in the air and welcome to the addiction!
