HQ Powerkites 2011 Summer Road Trip Tour


HQ Powerkites is kicking off their 2011 Summer tour with a road trip along I-95.



Team Riders Jan Rogge and Jan Hendrik Junker will be cruising from Germany with all the new HQ gear for demos and testing. Check us out at the following stops:

July 10th - St. Augustine, Florida - Ocean Extreme Sports
Anastasia State Park

July 11th – Charleston, South Carolina – Air & Earth
28th Street Sullivan’s Island

July 12th - Tybee Island, Georgia – All Out Kiteboarding

July 13th – Hatteras Island, North Carolina – Kitty Hawk Kites
Waves Village Kiteboarding Resort

July 16-17th – Wright Kite Festival - Wright Brothers National Memorial
Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

Any thoughts of coming north in the fall / spring and hit WildWood and then keep on driving to RI and then Nahant, MA?

We always come to Wildwood. Almost made it to Newport Festival this weekend, but the Germans got in the way :smilegrin:. Usually we make that trip and extend it onto the Cape.

Not sure about pushing past Wildwood in the Fall. Come see us there!

Monday is ENE at 15ish (10 am) perfect for a surf and turf session (buggy and board).........................youll be able to experience the Sullys sandbar..................do you want me to bring the door?

If you come up to the Cape, post here. My family has a cottage on the Outer Cape and if the timing is right I'd be glad to meet you at some Cape event.

winds werent the best but a great day out with the HQ honchos and the current German freestyle/wakestyle champion............thanks guys a great day and will post the vid soon...........................
