Its goin down! Pulled the trigger on a winch build!

I was talking to a customer about it, and he offered me a motor for free! Hell yeah! I really think he just wants to see me crash lol. My co worker has a set of fairladys (i think that's what they are called) hes going to give me... I have steel laying around for the frame.

going to see what I can scrounge up for a spool.... But so far $0 in :lol:
With 1 of,the two spendy parts down, im feeling good. (clutch will be the other spendy piece)

Anyone built one before? Any advice?

Depends where u r at... Drainage canals are prolly ok, but there are some city fountain runs they do that is probably frowned upon

still looking for the other where they winch down waterfalls. It is a really interesting video (kinda documentry) of how they set it up too.

I don't know what you use for the cable but I can get 1000 ft spools of 550 paracord if you are interested.
