Liftie kites?
So im moving on to the world of jumping. As of right now i have my sights set on the twister II 7.7 by Peter Lynn just because i was told its a good
jumping kite however the more i look around the more i notice no one notes it as a great jumper. So i ask to all of you who love some great hang time,
what kites should i be looking at.
im 140lbs and winds speeds around here are usually around 8mph but reach as high as 16(rarely)

The only issue I have ever had with the twister 7.7 jumping is a painfully slow redirect. Although after you get the timing it is actually very
confidence inspiring b/c the kite flies so slow you feel like you can keep up.
Other than that it is a beast I leave in the bag if I even THINK it might gust harder than 15. 10-15 and I am jumping good @205lbs.

If you see noone noting it as a great lifter, you're not looking very well :P The Twister is one of the best known fixed bridle kites for jumping,
probably only after the Flexifoil Blades.
Me: Dutch Flyboarder ... but not the kind you\'re thinking of.
Power: PL Vibe 1.8 (1.9 mod) - PL Vibe 1.9 - PL Vibe 2.3 - PL Hornet 2.0 - PL Twister 4.1 - PL Twister 5.6
Wind Range: Riding: 11 - 38 knots. Jumping: 12 - 21 knots.
Ride: Trampa (14ply 35deg channels)
Wants: PL Reactor II 6.9 - PL Impulse TR 3.0
Former gear: Libre Dragonboard Sirius - PL Guerilla 13 - Flysurfer Speed I 10 - Ozone Manta II 10
Homemade: PL Vibe 1.8 - Star 6.0 (Depower) - 3 Nasawings - Pixie 1.5 (fun foil) - Flowform 3.0 (slk) - Frog (laundry)
Dilemma: If you work, you have money for kites but no time to fly them. If you don\'t work, you have plenty of time to fly
kites, but no money to buy them. Either way, we\'re all screwed...

Can you afford to buy a depower kite?
Tx pretty much described my experience with the 7.7.
I had hopes it would somehow fill the 1st kite up spot but it took a little bit if wind to fly. I also found the redirect a bit slow and the range to
be a bit small. Both can be blamed as much on my timid style as much as anything.
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

I kinda wonder about the range on this kite... Im a heavier dude, so I can hold down more mph's... My best days on my twister are the days when im way
overpowered... The key, if you want to boost big air (for me anyway) is time... You put a lot of time into a kite, till it becomes an extension of
you... You feel it turn, drop, redirect, whatever... And once you are one with it, you push it!
My best kiting days have been on kites I've logged TONS of time on, then took them out and got crazy with em.... That's why its hard with the
7.7..... The "comfortable learning" range is small... But I gotta believe this would be my go to fb baby in 20mph winds.... Hoooj boosts and long
glides... Man, I really gotta get one lol
