made ya look! made ya look! HAHAHAHA! But really here is a pic....
Hope ya like it ,still gotta drill some holes, glue some black rubber where the bearing points are. And then some paint. Then it will be ready to ship,
I used quite a bit of stainless on this one for lack of steel stock.
Looks great brother! one question, how are you are keeping the side to side movement down (rocking)? the Libra has a 4 foot Axel right? plus tires,
that's a lot of weight from side to side? I had to put 3 hitch points on my rack to keep the ivanpah sway down. mind you that was 125lbs of buggy.
Just a question not a negative remark :dunno: Love your work!

I just make it a tight fit,a little movement
won't hurt it. The 2x2 square stock is stainless, you aren't gonna phase it. But if it was to be a problem ,I would suggest ratchet straps or bungees
fromthe ends of the axle cradle to the chain slots on the receiver. That should stop any sway.
Glad ya like it ,I'll get up w/ ya in a few days Kristen.
the bike rack I converted had a hitch tightener type devise made on to it to tighten the receiver to the hitch. When I tightened that up the rack was
solid with no wobble. I could not find the exact thing I had , but this looks very similar.

check out the demo video on there. This is basically like the one I had on the rack but mine was only on one side. Since this grabs both sides I
would bet this is very strong.
also found another device .. doesn't look as beefy but seems to do the job in the video

For the hitch tightner go to your local auto parts store and buy a 2"X3-4" spring shackle U-bolt. Then get a piece of 2"X2" angle iron and have it cut
down on one side to 5/16 or 3/8 depending on your receiver. Drill holes in appropriate places and you have this duhicky they are selling for $20.00 or
what ever the price is.

Any slop in tolerances of the reciever is caused by the manufacturer. I use 2"x2"x3/16" 316Lstainless square pipe for the insert. It is exactly 2"x2".
When there is slop,I usually weld a few stringer beads on one side the sand down until it's a tight fit. But when I don't have access to the
vehicle, that is not an option, and I dont want it too big. There are several ways to steady a rack,if it works, it is good. I have drove all over with
mine rocking, doesn't hurt a thing but your nerves. The square stock I use is WAY stronger than a class3 hitch. So you can rest assured, I would let
you strap me to one that I built, and drive across town.(I would have to use bodily excretions to keep "tailgaters" at bay) LOL

I must be getting old since I opened the thread excitedly to see a real buggy rack. I could've been really pleasantly surprised if it turned out
otherwise!
