Nice choice..... black lab of kite with a little bit of snarl when the wind picks up.

Until you take delivery:

Not my vids, so not sure. Just two vids I burned into my retinas while waiting for my Flow to ship from Kent.

Not a really big surprise that it is not a US locale (which would have promptly been turned into a strip mall or golf course).... somewhere in Germany, someone's got a lot of room to play.

Flow on skis

What are all you guys riding with your Flow - is it mainly buggies and landboards? Anyone out there riding one on snow? If yes I would like to know how you like it and what else do you ride.

I just started snow kiting in late January and recently had a water lesson so I am pretty new to everything. I am wondering if a Flow would be a good choice for skis or a snowboard. Ozone doesn't seem to market the Flow as a snow kite.

Most of the people I have spoke with in my area say I really want to stick with four-line depower kites instead of a fixed bridle kite like this. I love the simplicity of my Slingshot B3 trainer but need something bigger. I am wondering if a 5m flow would fill the gap between the B3 and a 10m Frenzy I just picked up. I keep hearing that the 10m foil is going to have a lot of power.

Ozone sells the Pure as their entry level snow kite. It is sold as "snowkite in a box" that comes with:
  • the kite
  • lines
  • basic FB control bar (not a x-over bar) with Megtron Chicken Loop
  • basic harness (essentially a budget version of the Ozone Access Base harness) with no leg straps.
One of the main differences between the Flows and the Pure is that the Flows are 4 line kites vs. the Pure which is a 3 line kite. The Pure is also only sold in the 4M size in the same color scheme as the 3M Flow.
