Go Joe

Great device to replace the board leash if you're learning, or having trouble bodydragging back to your board. Way safer than having that dangerous leash.

I bought it for kiting in places with strong currents, but never got around to using it. So its new, never used. $50

"....having trouble body dragging .." <----- if you here, you don't belong on the water my friend.

One of the MOST importent thing in kitesurfing is ALL the setup and prep BEFORE taking your kite on the water.
After, and ONLY after you master your skills in self rescue, body dragging include, you can take your kite on the water.
Devices like the GoJoe, ment to help only and NOT replacing basic YET essential skills when kiting.

;-) Just thought it worth to mention ;-)

yes body dragging is very important but when your board is going upwind with current a go joe can make a huge difference. I think adding a go joe to my board helped me quite a bit in the Columbia river where I fly. It also helps make the board more visible in the swell. It doesn't replace body dragging but I don't regret buying mine.

Yes body dragging upwind should be down before you start working on water starts...But, sometimes the conditions themselves make it hard to get back to the board.

Still there are many beginners that ride with a reel leash (super dangerous) and of course in that case the GoJoe is MUCH safer and less of a hassle.
