Ferry to Tsawwassen Booked
We'll wheel off the ferry (assuming it's on schedule) at 1:35 tomorrow afternoon.
Can someone shoot me directions to GP? I'm sure they're in the other thread but I've got limited battery right this sec and will be back online
tomorrow.
See ya soon!

I'll let the full-time locals shoot you the detailed directions, but basically you head to Vancouver and turn left just after the tunnel, following
signs to Steveson. The wind would have been awesome today, hope it's good for you tomorrow.
They'll be quick to tell you I probably didn't save you any time, I do hope your travels go well! I know I'd rather be on a boat than drive tho.
I'll be in Victoria, family do.
Give yourself a little extra time with the ferries, even with the reservation, as the scene around the ferry terminal can get mental on big summer
weekends.
fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....
sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...
also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.

Directions:
From ferry terminal follow signs for Vancouver. Very soon after you turn on to HWY 99 N is the Massey Tunnel. You can not change lanes in the
tunnel. You want to be in the right lane before tunnel. Take the first exit after the tunnel. From the exit lane turn left onto Steveston Hwy. The
first light you come to on Steveston Hwy is Number 5 Rd. Keep driving west 4.5 miles on Steveston Hwy past Number 1 Rd. After No. 1 Rd the streets
on the left side are numbered Avenues going from 1st to 7th. You want to turn left on 7th Ave, it is the last place you can turn of Steveston Hwy.
About 1/2 mile down 7th you will come to Chatham St. Turning right on Chatham goes into the Garry Point parking lot. If you get that far, you should
be able to find kites.

Does 2900 Chatham Street sound about right? Google Maps has it listed as "Garry Point Kite Field".

Great to see you guys (and gals) today too! And great to see Garry Point. I officially have nothing to #@%$#! about in terms of flying spots for you
guys vs. ours in land-lock Alberta. I'll still argue that your wind is WAY better (when you get it) but I think we might actually have one up on you
for spots....even with rugby poles or soccer goals or softball backstops in our way. Those HD GoPros really make GP look HUGE! Props to all you flying
out there. The size and the people say a lot about the skills you have. Loved the two wheel action too! Dude makes it look like the buggy is attached
to his hips the way it just rocks over!
Forgot everyone's name already and I promise to forget at SOBB after 2 hours but I never forget a face. If you hear someone shout, "Hey!" it's me
calling one of you.

Nice to meet you. Sorry we could not come up with better wind for you, but that was our typical summer wind, or lack there of.
