Low cost wind Meter
I have always recommended the LaCrosse wind meters from Ambient Weather for about $32, now they have branded their own for $24.
The claimed +/- 3% accuracy is fine for me.
Great bargain, IMO
I have no business affiliation with these folks. This is just an FYI on a company that I have found to be good to buy from. Their retail on other
meters is better than some kite wholesaler's dealer prices.

Wow, Thank You Angus.
Now that we're full-on into August, I've been wondering what my Sweetheart was gonna git me for a monthly stocking stuffer. FOUND IT !!!

Well, not exactly... It's kinda like a reverse surprise...
I never know WHAT I'm gettin' her for a monthly stocking stuffer and she's usually surprised and perplexed by what she gets for me too. Imagine
waiting until Christmas to get some mileage outta something this slick... or a cute pair of strapy pumps that fit properly and go perfectly with
last month's hand bag. Yeah, you get the picture.
I don't care how many Vogue magazines you read in the doctor's waiting room, if you have outdoor plumbing, you will never get THAT right all by
yourself.

Just got my new meter and it is quite nice. Similar features to the old LaCrosse with a few new features and a tripod mount. The new shape is easy to
hold too. for about $31 with shipping, it's a good deal and not a tragedy if lost (yeah it's happened).
