FB Bar conversion question

Hello Everyone,

I was curious if anyone has ever changed from handles to a bar (such as a 4-Line Traction Extreme Control Bar, Flexifoil with chicken loop). I have a PL Core 6.7 and was tossing about the idea. I kind of cut my teeth on FB kites that came with bars (HQ Rush, TSR) and feel comfortable with the bars. It seems like you are getting roughly similar turning radiuses with handles and a strop as with a bar when hooked in and buggying.

I have handles and a ozone turbo bar I use sometimes. It depends if the kite is 4 line biased or 2 line biased. I prefer the handles though, they are way more responsive. I have tried most of my kites out on the bar. Some did well ,a few were a PITA(they were the kites that didn't like alot of brake input). Try it out,let us know how you do.

When your turning, are you just pulling right and left.

Yes, use more brake line leverage and if your using a strop / link line than fly with your hands under it.

Also if you find that you have lack in the brake lines, add a knot an inch in.

I like the Ozone bar ... I'd probably use that over handles. Goes fine on my Core 6.7 too ;)

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...
