Just wondering,

Who recommends the bar? Who recommends the handles?

Mood: Cruising...

Bar for relaxed cruising on the beach. Either depower or turbo bar on my fixed bridles. I like to be able to fly one handed and film with the other - I'm confident enough with a bar to do that. I tend to sit facing more forward with the bar - which I much prefer.

Handles for teaching static
But if your going to be in motion got to go with the bar for fixed and obviously for depower

I tend to agree with this statement.
However, I'll caveat that to say that I dont really care for flying fixed-bridle kites on a bar. It just doesn't feel right. However, my entire quiver is depower now... It's only when I'm flying someone else's fb that I fly it on handles...

It really does depend on the kite and the application. For most of my flying I use handles, but for boarding I prefer the bar. For depower, the only option is a bar so it really does depend on the kite.
