I heard this is how Powerzone launches his kites. I just might try it. So what if the LEI guys laugh if I fail. I bet it will work just fine, just not in marginal winds.

Those trees seemed too close for my comfort... but hey I've only kite-surfed on prairie lakes... and space is NOT an issue.

I've seen powerzone do it, and he's helped me do it. We did it with my SA2 19m. Maybe get a bud to spot you the first time you do it?

basically, when i did it with PZ we just gave it a little preinflate, laid it out flat and made sure there weren't tangles, then quickly walked back and laid out the lines. He is the expert though.

Just make sure the kite does not launch before you get your lines off the bar....had that happen..pretty pretty helicopter*****************************
